Writing great prompts
Alloy does its best work when it knows who the site is for, what pages it needs and what the visitor should do. These skills and examples get you there on the first try.
The 5 ingredients
| Ingredient | Why it matters | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Who and what | Sets the tone, copy and images | A dog sitter in Haifa |
| Audience | Shapes wording and layout | Busy parents and pet owners |
| Pages / sections | Avoids guessing the structure | Hero, services, prices, gallery, reviews, contact |
| Main action | Decides the call to action | Book a visit |
| Style | Colors, mood, density | Warm, friendly, lots of photos |
Skills that make a difference
- Be concrete. "Prices: 30-minute walk ₪50, day care ₪150" beats "a pricing section".
- Name the data. If you want a table of classes, list the columns: name, day, time, coach, spots left.
- Say what not to do. "No blog, no login" keeps the project focused.
- One change per fix. In the Studio, ask for one thing at a time: "Make the hero darker and add a second button". Small steps keep earlier work intact.
- Use the language you want. Write the prompt in Hebrew or Spanish and the copy follows; all three languages are always generated.
- Mention real content. Paste your real address, opening hours or service names. Alloy uses them as-is.
