Code editor in the Studio

Maintain your project entirely on Alloy: a VS Code-style editor with file tree, tabs and search, where every save becomes a new version with a live preview.

What it does

  • File tree and tabs: open several files, see unsaved changes at a glance.
  • Search: find text across every file in the project.
  • Syntax highlighting for TypeScript, TSX, CSS, JSON and Markdown.
  • Save as a new version: your edits become a version, just like a prompt, and the preview updates.
  • Commit and pull request: on a Git-linked project, saving pushes to the open Alloy pull request.

Mix prompts and code

Fix a typo by hand, then ask Alloy for a new section: the next prompt builds on your edit. No export, no local setup.
