Deploy

Put your site online in a few minutes with Vercel or Netlify, straight from the repository Alloy pushed for you.

Vercel

  1. Push the project with Manage Git.
  2. In Vercel, click Add New → Project and import the repository.
  3. Framework preset: Vite. Build command npm run build, output directory dist.
  4. Add environment variables if your app has an .env.example.
  5. Click Deploy. Every merge into main deploys again automatically.

Netlify

  1. In Netlify, click Add new site → Import an existing project and pick your Git provider.
  2. Build command npm run build, publish directory dist.
  3. Click Deploy site.

Single-page apps need every path to load index.html. Add this file so links like /about work after a refresh:

public/_redirects (Netlify)

/*    /index.html   200

vercel.json (Vercel)

{
  "rewrites": [{ "source": "/(.*)", "destination": "/index.html" }]
}

Custom domain

Both hosts let you add your own domain under the project's Domains settings. Point your DNS to the records they show (usually an A record for the root and a CNAME for www). HTTPS is set up automatically.
