About Alloy & our motivation

Alloy is built by John Yaghobieh, the creator of ForgeStack, to close the gap between an app that looks good in a demo and a product you can actually keep building.

Why Alloy exists

AI builders are great at a first impression. The trouble starts on day two: code you cannot read, fixes that break other features, and a project that only lives inside someone else's tool. Alloy is our answer.

  • Real structure. Typed code, one folder per component, translations and constants where you expect them.
  • Real components. Bear and ForgeStack instead of one-off markup, so the result is consistent and accessible.
  • Real workflow. Git, pull requests and import, so the project grows with you.

The name

An alloy is a stronger metal made by combining others. Alloy combines a model, a component library and an opinionated project structure into something stronger than each part.

ForgeStack

Alloy is part of the ForgeStack family, alongside Bear UI. Everything Alloy generates uses these open libraries.
